Mid to Senior: Architectural Draftsperson / Project Architect

We are seeking an experienced mid to senior Architectural professional who is highly experienced with ArchiCAD software to join our collaborative and passionate workplace. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a solid understanding of construction principles and documentation, and a commitment to maintaining high design and drafting standards, then we would love to hear from you.

Dalecki Design is a multi-award-winning studio based in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in residential, across new builds, and alterations/additions. We are passionate about creating thoughtful and innovative spaces that respond to the unique conditions of the site and the specific living requirements of our clients. Our homes fuse pragmatic and aesthetic considerations to deliver uplifting spatial experiences that support a humble, but beautiful, way of living.

ROLE: Full-time

START DATE: Immediately 

LOCATION: Dalecki Design Studio (Bulwer Street, Perth WA)

SALARY: Based on experience (circa $70k - $90k + incentives and benefits)

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 6th of September

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting the senior creative team

  • Producing architectural documentation and presentations for conceptual designs through to design development

  • Rendering (training provided)

  • Completing and managing development applications with local councils

  • Producing detailed construction documentation

  • Completing site measures and documentation of existing structures

  • Liaising with outside consultants, builders, and clients

  • General in-office administration tasks


Essentials:

  • Proficient with ArchiCAD software package

  • Ideally 4 to 8 years of relevant industry experience

  • Experience in a similar role within Australia, ideally in Western Australia

  • Have a high level of understanding and knowledge of construction principles and codes

  • Experience with new builds and alterations/additions

  • Experience with a broad range of construction methods 

  • Excellent time and task management skills

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking to strategically solve problems 

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong work ethic and desire for career progression 

  • Currently residing in Perth, WA

  • Experience with Sketch up and Twinmotion would be advantageous, but not necessary
