Advanced Student of Architecture

As a progressive residential design studio, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals who will enhance our team.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from talented students of Architecture to join our studio on a paid part-time arrangement. 

The candidate needs to be in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree, or ideally in the first year of their Master of Architecture.

We are looking for someone with a great eye for design and detail, and a willingness to learn and integrate into our close-knit studio culture. No experience is necessary, we understand that you need a chance to excel in the profession. We aim to give the ideal candidate a positive start to their architectural career.

Under the direct mentorship of our passionate and supportive team, you will be exposed to a broad range of duties that will provide a great foundation for your career.

ROLE: Part Time

START DATE: Flexible

LOCATION: Dalecki Design Studio (Bulwer Street, Perth WA)

SALARY: Award Rates


Some of your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

Assisting the creative and documentation team across all tasks within the studio including:

  • Assisting with producing architectural presentations including rendering

  • Assisting with producing architectural documentation

  • Assisting with completing and managing development applications with local councils

  • Assisting with completing site measures and documentation of existing structures

  • General in-office administration tasks

Please note that training and support will be provided.


Essentials:

  • Strong architectural presentation skills

  • Clear and strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working within a studio or office environment would be advantageous but not necessary

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team environment

  • Good time and task management skills

  • Good analytical and critical thinking to strategically solve problems

  • Strong work ethic and desire for career progression

  • A passion for design, architecture, interiors, and well-designed spaces as a whole

  • Finds enjoyment working in a fast-paced environment

  • Currently residing in Perth, WA
